Crucible has a 80 Troy oz. / 2,488 Grams capacity is made of fused silica, can withstand temperatures up to 2500°F / 1371°C. Crucible can be used with a gas melting furnace or torch melting. A superior quality crucible, made of clay bonded High Grade Fused Silica, extending the life of usage of the Crucible. A wall thickness that is heavier than other similar types (1/4" - 6.4mm). Made in Italy This crucible may be used for melting scrap metals into Ingots as well as pouring metal in lost wax casting operations for vacuum assist castings machine.
